Goliad defeated Port Aransas 14-6 in Monday night's warmup game thanks in part to Kolton Duval, who drove in four runners.  

Duval drove in runs on a 2 run home run in the fourth and a single in the fourth.

The Tigers collected 13 hits in the high-scoring affair.

Goliad pulled away for good with nine runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth, Duval homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs. Aden Barrientez singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. Jacob Guerrero doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs. Colby Rosenquest doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Duval singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Phin Wallek, Kolton Duval, Donny Garcia, Leighton Wunch, and Colby Rosenquest toed the rubber for the Tigers. 

Goliad scattered 13 hits in the game coming from Duval, Rosenquest, and Barrientez each racked up multiple hits for the Tigers.  Rosenquest and Duval each collected three hits to lead Goliad on the night.

The Tigers will face Bishop this weekend in a best of three games series. Game one will be at Coastal Bend College in Beeville at 7 p.m. Friday and Game two and three will be in Bishop at 2 p.m. and 30 minutes following Game two if necessary.
